First Harriet and I want to thank everyone for your patience as we make the transition from doing printed schedules to digital!
As we wrote in the very first Harriet's e-News, we are in the final stages for creating a brand new website! We are really looking forward to the upgrade to our 12 year old site, it will not only make it easier for all our loyal, dedicated quilting customers from around the world to find what they need, but will be a useful resource to all of our local customers as well as we will have a whole section dedicated to Harriet's Treadle Arts. After this fall that is where you will find all the newsletters and class schedules and events that we are planning as you read this!
Next time you are in, be sure to meet our three new employees- Melissa, Kathy and Mary- and welcome them to our great quilting family!
Also make sure you check out all the new fun, fast and easy Christmas quilting project kits we have ready for you if you are in need of a great Christmas gift for a friend.
We have lots of new fabric in stock as well as some of the new laminated cotton which is great for all those fabulous market bag totes you see in all the magazines or apron for your chef friends... we new bag patterns as well as some great new baby patterns, all great things to make as gifts for the upcoming holiday season.
This seems to be the season of finishing projects, if you have quilt, wall hanging, pillow or any other project you have finished, bring it in and we will ooo and aaaaw over it appropriately and you will receive a free little something as a congratulations for a job well done!
Or, if you need help picking fabric or finding inspiration for a new project the girls will be more than happy to give you hand and good advice...
We look forward to seeing you soon!
P.S. You will find below, our "abbreviated" fall class schedule. We are offering only the core classes this fall to give Harriet and Carrie a little time off to get the manuscript for Volume 4 of the Quilter's Academy Series written and the quilts made.... don't be discouraged though- we will have a full, and we mean FULL! calendar of events come January!
If there is a class you are interested in this fall though- be sure to call the store and get signed up, the schedule may be small but these classes tend to fill fast! 303-424-2742
