Log Cabin Quilts

Do you love this traditional quilt pattern but have never had the gumption to tackle one? This is your chance… In this two-session class, you will make one of these classic quilts. The first week you will learn about all the different styles of log cabin, how color effects the design and will begin to cut strips and assemble your first blocks. In the second week you will bring your finished blocks to class and we will play with layouts and discuss how to finished and quilt your new quilt top!

Shop Hop Quilt Star Blocks
In this two-week class you will learn all the tips and tricks for making your 2009 Shop Hop blocks. Tips for an accurate seam allowance, rotary cutting around templates, and lots of other things to help you complete this fun quilt!

Do-Sa-Do Quilt

Don’t let “orphan” strips string you out. This class will show you some basics and many other options for “strings” to make any size quilt you wish. We will also talk about color sorting and organization techniques.

JUST FOR FUN


Punch Needle Embroidery
Come learn the basics of traditional Russian punch needle. This beautiful needle art is easy to do, quick to learn and very portable. In this class you will explore the differences in fabric for your base, needle sizes, and threads all while you make a great little sampler you can frame, put on a little bag or make into an ornament. (Kit fee $15)
